You might have seen the breathless reports that Chairwoman of the House Financial Services Committee Maxine Walters would not subpoena Sam Bankman-Fried. Well, those reports were baloney. SBF is in the cross-hairs of this Committee. Why would anyone doubt this? (That’s a rhetorical question, I’m aware of the inane culture wars in the US)
